Basalt stone (Lava stone) is produced from volcanic eruptions. This stone has the special features which other stone material doesn't have. It is a porous material with holes - which are much bigger on the top layers and becomes highly minimal at the lower layers. These holes give it some special properties which no other stone can offer - such as sound absorption and insulation, heat insulation and reserve, frozen proof etc.
Basalt is charcoal grey stone which brings added interest to any application. The surface accentuates the naturally occurring flecks and veins which make Basalt such an interesting and unusual product. Neutral deep grey tones make Basalt a very rustic material. It is green environmental building material. It is alkali proof, can be used in many areas.
